I am Soham Das. I am from Shobhabazar, Kolkata. In my family, there are 4 members - my father, mother and a younger brother. My father is a private tutor and my mother is a housewife. My brother recently completed his Higher Secondary education and got admission in B.tech in Computer science. Now, I am in my 2nd year of M.B.B.S. As a doctor, I want to provide them with the best treatment to cure their diseases and I don't want to leave any patient without treatment. In this way, I want to improve the medical service where both doctors and patients can get along very well and there is no mistrust between them. Till now, I was the only son who was doing higher studies, but as recently my brother also started higher studies so my father is having some monetary problems to handle both of our studies. Therefore , I was looking for a scholarship which I can apply for in my 2nd year and I came to know about this Talented Students' scholarship by Mukti from my seniors. I also searched on YouTube and got some information there. So I applied for this scholarship. I hope if I get selected for this scholarship then my family can get rid of the monetary problems and I can focus more on my studies without the monetary problems. I am grateful to GSCA for supporting my education. |
