I am Chandra Sarkar. I live at Ghasiara , Sonarpur in the district of 24 paraganas in West Bengal with my parents. My father is a Toto driver and my mother is a housewife. I belong to a very poor family. Now I am a student of B.A. Vocal Music Hons 1st year. The annual income of our family is Rs. 60000 per year. So, I could not manage my educational expenses. I do not purchase my essential books and musical instruments. My dream is to be a music teacher in the future. I want to complete my education successfully. Hence, I have applied in Mukti for scholarship with the hope that if I get a chance of sponsorship that will be a great help to me and my family. Eventually I got selected in Mukti by Dr. Saumyendra Kumar Bagchi. I am really grateful to him for staying beside me. |
