I am Arnab Bhunia, a resident of a village in Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. I am living with my family there. My father worked as a night guard but now he is totally unemployed and an aged person, so he cannot do any work. My mother is a housewife. My elder sister is married and manages us by providing grocery materials and vegetables with great difficulty. I am pursuing B.Tech in Leather Technology 2nd year from Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology. I passed Madhyamik with a score of 87.71% from Metyal Janakalyan Niharbala Siskha Sadan in 2016 and Higher Secondary with a score of 93.6% from Belda Gangadhar Academy in 2018. My educational expenses are 48500/-/ year. My father however manages all expenses. Though we are from a poor family, my parents are very much supportive towards my education. Our financial condition is very low and we are going through a bad time. So I applied for a Mukti Scholarship to get help. If any kind hearted man assists me to complete my studies, it will be great for me and my family. Fortunately, I got selected by Ms. Nabanita Bal and I am very thankful to her. |
