I am Kusum Sahu, a Odia girl from Chunpara kharida village in Kharagpur, West Midnapore. I am living with my mother who is the only earner of the family, runs a small shop in Kharagpur station. There are 3 members in my family including my mother and grandmother. I passed Madhyamik with 83.50% score in 2016 and Higher Secondary with 93.80% from Gokulpur Bidhan Chandra VidyaBhaban in 2018. I have completed my graduation in B.A English honours from Midnapore college (Autonomous) on this year . Currently I am pursuing an M.A in English from the same college.. I know 3 different languages including HIndi, Bengali and English. My father passed away when I was in class VIII. But my mother left my father and she raised me alone. Being a small shopkeeper it is very difficult for my mother to manage my education expenses and household requirements. Henceforth I applied in Mukti for sponsorship. If I got selected then I can reach my goals as well. |
