I stay in Kaorakhali village in the south 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. I am studying in B.E. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering in Jadavpur University. I have completed my secondary level exams in this year. I am currently staying in a nuclear family with my father and mother. My father, Sri. Shyamal Mondal is a cultivator and my mother, Smt. Jayanti Mondal is a housewife. Last year my educational expense was approximately Rs. 45000. My father’s annual income is Rs. 48000, being the only bread earner of my family his income is not sufficient to meet the requirements of the family and the educational expenses. So I applied for MUKTI scholarship. I wish to continue my higher studies in the future and get a good job in the government sector and look after my family. |
