I stay in the Purbajata village of Raidighi in South 24 parganas of West Bengal. My family consists of my father, mother and a younger brother. My father, Sri. Dhulapadh Halder is a rickshaw puller. My mother, Smt. Anima Halder is a housewife. My younger brother is a student of Std. IX in a nearby local school. My father being the only earning member in the family faces tremendous hardship in meeting expenses of the whole family. Moreover, I stay in a hostel and thus, my expenses on education goes upto Rs. 46000/year. I am very thankful to JU Alumni Association for supporting me for my studies. This help has also brought peace in my parents’ mind and confidence in me to do well in my studies. |
