I stay in the Durganagar village in the South 24 Paraganas district of West Bengal. My family comprises of my father, mother and a younger brother. My father, Sri. Utpal Bera is a farmer and my mother, Smt. Parbati Bera is a housewife. My brother is a student of secondary level in a nearby school. Our annual family income is Rs.36,000/- and it is very difficult for my parents to meet the educational expenses of myself and my brother and also address the family needs. My annual expenses are almost Rs.41,000/- that includes my tuition fees, expenses on books and boarding charges. I have applied for TSS sponsorship with the hope that I will get a sponsor who will extend me financial support in my education and so, I will be able to complete my graduation and pursue higher studies. |
