I stay in the Bankura district of west Bengal in a village named Fulkushma. My family comprises of my father, mother and a younger sister. My father. Sri. Asim Sahu is a lottery seller and my mother, Smt. Arpita Sahu is a housewife. My sister is studying in Higher Secondary standard in a nearby local school. My father sells lottery tickets in footpath and his annual income is approximately Rs.18000/-. It is very difficult for him to extend any financial support for my education. Even during my higher secondary education, I studied by myself and only took Maths tuition. My father during that time also did ‘100 days work’ for some additional income to support our education. IF I do not get any support for my education, it will be very difficult for me to continue my studies. |
