I have my parents and a younger brother in my family. My father is a farmer and earns Rs. 3,000 monthly, while my mother is a home maker and brother is pursuing his study as a science student of 12th standard.
I have been continuing my education by staying at a relative’s place in Kolkata and giving tuition to their children. Financial hardship never created a barrier between me and education and that has positively reflected in my board exam results. At present, I am pursuing M.Sc. in Applied Math in Rajabazar Science College. My aim is to get a good rank in JEM exam and after that I want to continue my M.Sc. in IIT. My aspiration for higher study has leading me to choose a career as a research scientist. I wish to work for underprivileged, meritorious students in near future as a socially responsible person. I am greatly passionate to work with street children of our community. |
