I belong to Bankura district of West Bengal. I am studying Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University. I stay in a hostel in Kolkata and pursue my studies. My family comprises of my father, mother and a brother. My father is the sole bread earner of the family, he is a hawker with approximate annual income of Rs.36,000/-. My educational expenses include my accommodation charges, food, books and college fees of an amount of Rs. 22,210/annum. Though, I get some financial support of Rs.6000/year from Government, yet it is insufficient to meet the minimum educational expenses. I am aiming for a government job after completing my course. |
