As I previously mentioned sir, I belong to middle class family, whenever I came to know I got chance in Jadavpur, a government college, I was so much overjoyed that my father will get relief now. Then the thought came of where to stay these four years. Despite my relatives forbade me to stay at hostel,I made my mind to stay there as it will help my father financially, I applied for hostel. But then, I learnt from seniors and other staffs that there are huge reservations for minorities.And though there are some seats for general there are two criterias. Firstly, our income has to be lesser than 80,000 per year which I fulfilled, but besides our home from college has to be around 200 km away, where I failed to justify so I got rejected for hostel.Hence,to reside in mess in Salt Lake will take around Rs.10,000 per month including meal.Besides, IT department in Jadavpur costs way more than other branches despite being government college.So I searched for scholarships, but in most of them college id card is needed, so I couldn't apply as Jadavpur hasn't started yet till date. Hence I need this scholarship so much. If I become able to get that scholarship, my father don't have to face this much stress and trouble for my studies. He will get atleast some rest now from all of his hardworks.

As a medical student I am facing a challenging financial situation that I want to share with you. My father is 64, who is a farmer experiencing a decline in strength, making it difficult for him to sustain our family. I have an elder brother age 31, who is preparing for government jobs and he is currently unemployed, facing expenses related to books, coaching, and study materials. As for myself, I am studying MBBS staying in Kolkata far away from my home. I am residing in a PG with a monthly rent of 5000/-, additional cost for electricity, maintenance, and 5000/- per month for food. The tuition fee for my college is 750/- per month. I became failed to crack the examination in first 3 attempts because of hard circumstances in my family but in the last attempt in 2023 I had focused only on my study and to achieve goal and successfully I have cracked it. All of the credits of my achievement are to my parents.I had choiced to be a neurosurgeon in future when I read about Dr. Sujay Rao who is one of the best neurosurgeon in India. His skills and life-story influenced me a lot to choose my dream. The only source of income in my family comes from cultivation and the annual income is near about Rs 60000. My father is the only earning member in my family and other 3 persons(including me) are totally dependent on him. Due to recent heavy flood most of our cultivated lands get damaged.
