On 20 December 2009, Sunday, Members and activists of mukti did the campaigning for save the sunderban where 14th annual senior citizens’ walking race was organised by the Uttarpara ideal youth Society, Uttarpara.
The program started in front of the gate of Fort William and ended near the statue of Gostho pal at maidan. Members of Mukti actively did the campaigning for sunderban and distributed handbills and cards to the senior citizens present there. They also led a membership drive and around 40 people actively joined the forum. It was really a marvellous success of the campaigning.
