People are divided locally and politically. To bring all of them under a common umbrella and cultivate good culture side by side Mukti is dedicated to address various cultural issues.
Because of poverty and illiteracy of the inhabitants people are isolated from the world. They cannot bear the cost of newspaper. Besides it is not easily available owing to communication problem. Even the various facilities for the villagers through several projects by Government and non-government organization are not transparent to them.
Mukt’s project is to circulate local news that could be posted on 20 news boards in public places so that people can read and become aware about the facilities available for them.
Mukti has a dedicated team to collect local and effective news for villagers, and post them monthly on the news boards so that people can read them free of cost.

Talented Student Sponsorship (TSS)
Lack of education is one of the major causes of economic backwardness and helplessness of the people in Sunderbans, similar to the poorest regions of the world. Towards a goal of eradicating illiteracy in the region, and to encourage young talented children not only to complete school with good grades but also to go for graduate studies, MUKTI has been facilitating sponsorship of talented students.
